When I asked our friend where we should eat in Paris he immediately exclaimed "Berthillon Glacier, you must get ice cream from Barthillon Glacier!".
He was right: this is some of the best ice cream I have ever had! We had the chance to enjoy an ice cream cone from Berthillon Glacier our first night in Paris. During our evening Fat Tire Bike Tour we parked our bikes on the bridge and walked over to the ice cream stand. The line was a bit long, but it moves quickly. The stand is cash only so be sure to bring euros.
There were about ten flavors to choose from ranging from chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, pistaccio, coffee, etc. as well as sorbet. I decided on the caramel and was not disappointed! The ice cream was so light and creamy! Berthillon Glacier is a must if you are visitng Paris!
